Stocks, is a website where you can trade stocks with virtual
money. According to the website, this is the most realistic stock
market simulation in the world. It's completely free. Individual's
or groups can play it. Lesson plans about the stock market are
available for educators. This site sounds very cool, and I am
looking forward to trying it out soon.

Economic
Resources for K-12 Teachers, offers a wide variety of resources
to use in teaching economics. It is sponsored by the University
of Nebraska at Omaha Center for Economic Education. Teachers can
navigate trhough sections that offer dozens of classroom activities
and lesson plans. The economic concepts section offers advice
as to which ideas are appropriate for various grade levels. One
section identifies projects that teach principles of economics
through utilization of the Internet. An excellent site.
The
Mint Home Page, is an integrated site designed for middle
and high school students, teachers and parents created by
the National Council on Economic Education and Northwestern
Mutual Life Foundation. There are sections about investing,
government spending, making a budget and more. Good stuff.
National Budget Simulation , is a simulated game where you try to balance the US budget. I just came across this site so I haven't had a chance to try it yet.
