It's hard
to believe that the last update here was in July. We just seem
to get busier and busier at school, and there seems to be no
time for me to work on my own things. Maybe I'm just slowing
down with old age. A lot of time it's just easier to sit out
on the veranda and relax during my few moments of free time.
Anyway,
there are a few new photos here of our land across the road
from the house in Sekongkang. Most of the land has been cleared
now, and we are finishing up with building a house for our
gardener who has become quite important in keeping things running
around all of this property.
Things have
settled down here since Apple was poisoned by some unknown
bad guys who tried to get in the property one night. We still
have May who we bought to mate with Apple, but everyone still
misses Apple.
I have another
three weeks of school left this term which includes parent
conferences. Ramadhan starts in another week so it will be
another month of fasting. At least I'll have two weeks when
I will be on vacation so the fasting will be a bit easier.
The family will be going back to Bali for Id; I'll stay here
as I won't have enough time to make the trip.
I just returned
from a five day field trip to Bali with the two senior classes.
It turned out well, and everyone seemed to have a good time.
